macOS: How do I display my computer’s device specifications?
You can check your device specifications from the macOS System screen.

Procedure
OS Version, Chip & Memory
1. Tap the Apple icon at the top left, then tap About this Mac.
2. You can see basic information about your computer.
(1) Chip
Shows the CPU and its processing speed.
In the image below, the chip is an Apple M1.
(2) Memory
Lists the memory capacity.
In the image below, you can see that the memory is 8GB.
(3) Lists the OS type and version details.
GPU/VRAM (graphics memory)
■ M series
The M series is a chip integrated with Apple’s GPU.

■ Intel
For details, see “Graphics/Display” on the screen displayed under “OS Version, Chip & Memory” step.
Storage
1. On the “About this Mac” page as described in “OS Version, Chip & Memory”, tap “More info”.
2. The total storage capacity, how much space is used, and how much is free is displayed.
In the image, the total capacity is 494.38 GB and the free space is 317.14 GB.
